Description

This Delicious Instant Pot Breakfast Buckwheat Porridge is a wonderful breakfast recipe that can be made in 20 minutes or less. It is high in resistant fiber making it a heart healthy breakfast and it even supports gut health. It has a delicious nutty and chewy flavor and is a wonderful comfort food recipe.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup rinsed and sorted buckwheat groats (untoasted, light green variety)
  • 2 cups filtered water

Instructions

  1. Rinse and sort buckwheat groats (the plain untoasted light green variety)
  2. Add to instant pot along with 2 cups of filtered water
  3. Set to high pressure for 5 minutes
  4. Once ready, allow to naturally release for 5 minutes
  5. Turn off Instant Pot so buckwheat does not dry out.
