- What flours are used? I use blanched almond flour, tapioca flour, potato starch, coconut flour and cassava flour throughout the ebook.
- Are any of the recipes nut-free? The Moist Paleo Pumpkin Chip Muffins and Paleo Cinnamon Rolls do not use nut flours, but they do include coconut flour.
- What do the biscuits taste like? The Flakey Paleo Biscuits are very similar in texture and flavor as Kentucky Fried Chicken Biscuits. I use a special type of dairy free shortening that gives it a buttery flavor. You can see my full list baking resources for links to the products I use.
- I am allergic to tapioca flour, can I use arrowroot? Yes, you can replace tapioca flour with arrowroot in any recipe that calls for tapioca flour.
- What is psyllium husks powder and why is it used in the Paleo Bread? Psyllium husks powder is a mucilaginous fiber that helps grain free baking be less crumbly. It gives paleo bread a spongy texture similar to that of whole wheat bread.
- Can the Perfect Paleo Bread be toasted? Absolutely! It toasts beautifully and can be used to make sliders, PB & J sandwiches for the kiddos, croutons or tuna sandwiches. I have a savory and sweet version of the bread to fit your palate.
