we’re making Ninja Crispi Air Fryer Chicken Fajitas — juicy, perfectly charred chicken with colorful bell peppers and onions, ready in just 17 minutes! This easy air fryer recipe delivers all the bold Mexican flavors you love, without the takeout hassle. If you’re looking for a quick weeknight dinner, a high-protein air fryer meal, or a healthy Ninja Crispi recipe, these chicken fajitas are a must-try.
Ingredients
- 3-4 chicken thighs
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 yellow bell pepper
- 1 large yellow onion
- avocado oil (about 3-4 Tablespoons)
- 2 teaspoons taco seasoning (I am using Trader Joes Taco Seasoning)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
Instructions

Core and deseed bell peppers. Slice to 1/2'' thickness. Add to a large mixing bowl.

Peel onion, cut to 1/4''-1/2'' thickness. The thinner you slice the onions, the more caramelized they will be. Add to mixing bowl.

Slice chicken thighs to 1/2'' thick strips. Add to bowl.

Drizzle avocado oil over mixture, add seasonings and mix well.

Add to Ninja Crispi Air Fryer, make sure you have the crisper rack on and are using the larger base. Add to air fryer.

Close lid and set to AIR FRYER setting for 10 minutes.

Toss meat and vegetables. Set to AIR FRYER setting for another 7 minutes. ( 400°-425°F / 204°-218°C)

Check internal temperature of largest piece of chicken thigh and make sure it is at least 165 degrees Fahrenheit or more. If not, add 3-5 more minutes.
