Have you ever heard of a Vegan Chocolate Avocado Pie? If you have not, you are in for a treat. This tastes like a decadent French Dessert.
- For the Crust:
- 1 cup raw almonds
- 4 pitted dates
- pinch of salt
- 1/2–1 tsp filtered water (optional)
- Add almonds, dates and salt to food processor. Process until finely ground. Press mixture between fingers to see if it sticks together. If it is too dry, add 1/2 a teaspoon of water at a time until mixture sticks between your fingers.
- Press into a pie pan. I used a 6 inch springform pan. A 9” will also work. You can work some crust up the sides if using the smaller pan.
