Hello, I love your site, and am trying out a bunch of new receipes.. my question is about the chicken pot pie, dairy free.
I have cashew BUTTER, how much do i use to substitue the cashew cream?

Hi Ceci, I am glad you are enjoying the site and recipes. I have personally never used cashew butter as a dairy substitution in a recipe so I am not sure if you will get the same results, especially if the cashews are roasted not raw. With a recipe this elaborate, I would suggest making it homemade which is 1 1/2 cups of water to 2/3 cups raw cashews blended on high speed until smooth and creamy. The recipe is well worth the extra step. Please let me know how it goes. Best regards, Ester
